Natural Gas Boilers

Heated Floor Systems, Inc. primarily uses HTP (Heat Transfer Products) Munchkin boilers. The HTP Munchkin boilers was the first condensing low-mass boiler available in North America.  For bigger jobs Munchkin offers a good selection at several price and efficiency levels. If you already have a boiler in mind Heated Floor Systems can get provide it.

Electric Boilers

Electric boilers are an inexpensive heat source option. Some builders prefer them becuause their is no gas combustion or exhaust venting. To save money on your electric bill, contact your local electric co-op.

Water Heaters

For smaller jobs we may be able use a typical home water heater.

Uponor

We use and recommend the Uponor radiant systems. The PEX Tubing and manifold components are manufactured in Apple Valley, MN which gives us quick access to technical support and products.

What is PEX Tubing?

The PE refers to the raw material used to make Polyethylene and the X refers to the cross-linking of the Polyethylene across its molecular chains. The molecular chains are linked into a three dimensional network that makes PEX remarkably durable within a wide range of temperatures and pressures.

Heated Floor Systems, Inc. can install the electric boiler from Seisco. The Seisco boiler is a small but powerful and extremely efficient electric tankless water heating system.
